Serve something deliciously new on your next outdoor party. Prepare ham with Hawaiian salsa and sweet potatoes. To make the salsa, gently mix cored and finely diced ¼ fresh pineapple, finely diced ½ red onion, 2 tbsp chopped cilantro, 2 tsp freshly grated lime peel, 1 tbsp fresh lime juice, ¼ tsp crushed red pepper and ¼ tsp salt.

Then, mix 2 tbsp oil, ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper. Cut 2 large sweet potatoes into 8 long wedges. Coat potatoes with the mixture then grill for 30 minutes, turning occasionally until slightly charred and tender when pierced. Brush 1 lb precooked ham steak with 1 ½ tsp honey and add to grill before potatoes are done. Serve with the salsa and sweet potatoes.
