It is perfect for Mother’s Day. Steak dinners always mean that the father will take over the grill. We will be having his delicious flat iron steak for dinner. He has marinated the steak and it is on the kitchen counter. Now, he is on his way to prepare the grill. It is easy for him having done this many times before.

He knows the secret of producing the perfect grilled meat. ~Make sure that the coal is super hot. ~Clean the grill surface while it’s hot with a steel wire brush ~Cook away from the coals. Indirect cooking will take time but it will avoid flame flare-ups ~His big secret is to put the meat directly over the coals for the last four minutes allowing the flare-ups to burn the meat.
