The reason we love pasta so much is that there is a good deal of variety; you cannot get bored with it. The pasta alone has so many different shapes; most of us will not have tried all of them yet. We can probably count on our fingers the kind of pasta that we are familiar with, much less those that we have tasted. I have come across farfalle in recipe books. These are bow shaped pasta. But lanterne? Raise your hand if you have heard of this kind of pasta.
Pasta recipes are another thing. We are familiar with pasta with meat, whether ground or in balls. We know that they are combined with ham, bacon or sausages. But vegetable pasta is something new. And seafood pasta is something different. What about the oriental flavored pasta dish, which has graced restaurant menus in recent times? It must have been concocted by people who got tired of the Italian flavored pasta. Today these innovations of the pasta recipe have become the favorite of people on the diet.
