One of my favorites foods are Japanese foods. I love tempura, Japanese fried rice, steaks, noodle dishes and raw foods. I love it so much I attended a cooking school specifically tailored to teach me how to prepare Japanese dishes. Some of the dishes we were taught to prepare were raw. The raw food recipes of sashimi are just the cutting of raw fish, soy sauce and wasabi.

Sashimi, to put it bluntly, is raw fresh seafood. The most popular of these dishes is tuna and salmon. The raw food recipes that they gave us in class, is actually, more on food preparation and fish selection. The chef taught us how to select the fish and how to cut it properly. As a result of this class, I bought a ceramic knife to use only in cutting sashimi.
