Use your favorite blend of spices and herbs to flavor your meats. Dry rubs are probably the biggest boon to the busy housewife. They are easy to prepare and if you use them often you can mix a big batch and keep them in airtight containers. They will be ready to use anytime. Keep a bottle of bbq dry rub in your pantry. They are great time savers.

Here is a recipe for bbq dry rub that you can use. Your family will love the delicious country style flavor. INGREDIENTS: ~1-1/4 cups white sugar~1-1/4 cups brown sugar~1/4 cup salt ~1/4cup freshly ground black pepper ~1/4cup paprika DIRECTIONS:In a medium bowl, mix together white and brown sugars, salt, pepper and paprika. Rub unto pork 10 minutes prior to grilling. Store any leftover rub in a sealed container.
