Protein rich foods

Eating right should come in tandem with exercise. Muscles need nourishment to recuperate. A light meal within two hours after exercise is recommended. The meal should include some protein, some complex carbohydrates and some healthy fats as well. This should keep the muscles happy and ready for another bout after some rest.

Protein is a very important component of a person in an exercise program. Protein rich foods include eggs, milk, spinach, soybean, meat, fish, whole grains and legumes. Protein is essential in building muscles, restoring and replacing tissues. It keeps a person’s immune and hormonal system healthy. People who are physically active should include more protein in their diet.
