dry rub

I love to cook. One time a week I try to cook something new. My favorite thing to do is look for new recipes in a recipe exchanged website. I don’t have formal cooking training. I learned everything I know from my mom. It is only now that I’m experimenting with dry rubs.

Coming from an Asian background, most of my mom’s recipes involve wet rubs mostly soy sauce based. From what I understand, dry rubs won’t overpower the flavor of the food. When you cook using dry rubs you want the natural flavor of the food to come out. Wet rubs, more often, will change the flavor of the food.
