There are several ways of spicing up the meals we prepare. We either marinade them with liquid preparation or just season them with salt. Pork dry rub is actually a mixture of ground spices that’s being rubbed to raw pork before they are actually cooked. This is typically coarsely ground. It can be left on the raw food while cooking or you can partially remove some for lighter flavorings.
When you cook with pork dry rub, dry heat method should be used where almost now liquid is used in cooking. This is very popular when grilling and can also be used in baking and roasting. This rub can be composed of simple salt and pepper. Some rubs would have interesting ingredients like crushed garlic, herbs and oil to make a paste.
