Applying Dry Rub on Steaks

Cooking is one of the things you can do to show your loved ones that you care. A well-cooked meal with the right equipment and the freshest ingredients can go a long way and will greatly be appreciated by friends and family. There is this certain feeling of fulfillment I feel when I’m cooking. I know that what I’m conjuring up in my pots and pans taste good because I try to put a lot of love with it. It sounds a bit corny, but I think knowing why you’re cooking and for whom you’re cooking can somehow add to the flavor and the culinary experience.

One of the things I love cooking is prime steaks. A nicely cooked steak can be an excellent part of a meal. I like it better when it is grilled after marinating it overnight, but sometimes I add a steak dry rub. These steak rubs can be a combination of different herbs and spice that can add to the zest and flavor of the steak. All you have to do is to apply a thick layer on either side of the meat, just enough for the flavor to be infused. Grill the steak and season to taste, and you’re ready for one of the best dinners you can have with friends and family.
