Planning your child’s birthday party can be such a pressure. But it doesn’t have to be. The truth is, kids will enjoy any party that is laid back and that allows them to play. So for your daughter’s party, why don’t you rent different costumes that she and her friends can wear? Provide hypoallergenic child-friendly make up that they can put on themselves. Or bring in a face painter who can draw all sorts of creative pictures on their eager faces.
For food, hire a popcorn or ice cream cart. Let the kids create their own souvenirs too. Give them a bunch of beads, strings, ribbons, and charms to make their souvenir accessories. Or let them take pictures of themselves as tokens. You can even put up a small fashion show ramp or a makeshift studio in the house or garden. Hands-on activities are fun for children while developing their creative skills.
